The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) serves as a network of advisors rooted in the community. SHIP advisors provide pro bono assistance to those qualified for Medicare and their supporters. Regardless of your location, you can receive guidance on Medicare options from SHIP, either face-to-face or through telephone communications. If you meet the requirements for Medicare, you’re a candidate for SHIP’s services. Even if you’re nearing the eligibility for Medicare, you can reach out to SHIP advisors for guidance. Relatives and those caring for individuals with Medicare are also welcome to engage with SHIP.
